Process
Working with Protozoa Studio + Ulliam to create a promotional film that depicted Protozoa Studio’s new keyboard switch ‘Solaris’ — from the Night Walker Collection. We utilized Alex Sailer’s 3D renders and preliminary animation as the backbone for the video. We then designed an edit that was quick enough for social platforms but engaging enough for the viewer and potential customer.
Sound Design
Sound Design plays a large part in any project, especially when it’s a social short. Because of the limited duration the sound added can bring a whole new aspect to the storytelling and portrayed vibe / emotion. I worked to create 4 initial soundscapes that eventually boiled down to one soundtrack woven with an intricate arrangement of precessional instruments. We used ‘Space’ movies such as Interstellar and 2001 Space Odyssey as our initial inspiration.
